Thousands of dental practices are helping our environment by using YAPI.
Not only is the process of paper making tedious, but it compromises our air quality, leading to air and water pollution. Every year more than 5 billion trees are cut down and used for paper, mimizming our planet’s biodiversity and more than 375 million empty ink and toner cartridges are thrown out every year, most of them ending up in landfills.
At YAPI we process roughly 85,000 iPad and Online documents each day, saving roughly 30 trees per day.
Volunteering For A Good Cause
In effort to increase our company’s environmental awareness, we have participated in local community events around the greater Los Angeles basin, recently teaming up with TreePeople, an environmental nonprofit organization located in Coldwater Canyon Park.
Our experience volunteering with TreePeople has given our team at YAPI a deeper appreciation for our local environment, as well as a better understanding on the role that trees play in our own local communities. From planting trees in low density neighborhoods to working on local beautification projects, these events have brought our own team closer, and given us tangible evidence on the importance of creating and producing environmental-friendly software.
