What started small, grew big. In 2009, YAPI started as a small custom-designed software solution for Dr. Gina Dorfman’s dental office. By 2011, YAPI came into the market for dental offices, revolutionizing the way thousands practice dentistry. Today, YAPI is known for its innovative technology and wonderful hard-working team.

YAPI was co-created by a dentist. Many software platforms cater to multiple industries but YAPI solely focuses on the unique needs and challenges of dentistry. So we understand your frustrations, we know how hard you work, and we’re familiar with the limitations you are faced with. That’s why we are here for you and that’s why we built YAPI.

Dr. Gina Dorfman
Co-Founder and CEO
Dr. Gina Dorfman is a practicing dentist and the founder of Dentistry for Kids and Adults.
Dr. Dorfman is a published author and an experienced public speaker. She has contributed to many dental publications and has spoken at many live events throughout the years. Her latest passion is her new podcast, Behind the Smiles.
Co-Founder and COO
Ken Lukach is one of the Co-founders of YAPI. Ken has over 20 years of experience in the dental industry, working as an IT consultant.
Today, he oversees business development at YAPI and also works directly with the company’s Partnership Program.
