New Updated Features and Design for YAPI Phone Assistant
Since its launch in mid-2017, Phone Assistant has helped hundreds of dental practices reduce their hold times while providing better service to their patients. Today, Phone Assistant continues to be one of our most talked-about products and has become a popular add-on feature with our monthly plans at YAPI.
We are very excited to announce and launch a brand new look and feel for Phone Assistant in 2020, with expanded functionality and better design. What was easy, just got even easier!
What is Phone Assistant?
Phone Assistant gives you the important patient caller information you need so that you can act fast. Now you can stop putting patients on hold and stop clicking through your digital charts.
When the phone rings, YAPI instantly syncs important patient data from your PMS in the form of a pop-up window. Right in front of you are all the details you’ll need to know about your patients so you can make sure that opportunities are not missed over the phone.
New Design, Better Layout
What you’ll really love is that Phone Assistant now offers more intuitive and responsive viewing. You can easily toggle between an expanded and compact view, navigate quicker through family file information, and see the details you need to know in a visually pleasing layout.
Important patient alert icons from the YAPI Practice Dashboard such as birthday, recall, and new patient, will now appear next to patients of record. Avatars have also been added, bringing more personality and fast visual recognition for patient gender and age.
Head of Household members will now have their own special badge icon, which displays in the upper left-hand corner of the patient avatar.
Prioritize Your Calls with Phone Queue
No more multiple pop-ups when more than one patient calls in! Now all incoming patient callers are displayed in a virtual Phone Queue. The Phone Queue is displayed at the bottom of the Phone Assistant pop-up. You can easily toggle through callers and prioritize who needs attention first.
Now you can utilize quick actions better by clicking on the text or email icon to reach your patient callers in real-time as they wait on the other line.
Additional Family Members and Associated Partners
You will now have access to all family members of a patient caller, even if they do not have the same number. Associated patients of a caller will now be viewable as well within family files on the Phone Assistant pop up.
