Dr. Gina Dorfman: I read a lot of posts online from younger dentists who are frustrated because they have graduated but are not yet able to be in a setting where they can use big equipment, take on big cases, and follow their main pursuits. What would your advice be to those dentists out there?
Dr. Andrew Turchin: I can relate. You know what, in the beginning I had a similar feeling. I thought that I deserved more, that I should have more patients, etc. But I would say to all those younger dentists out there to relax more. Your first few years you should be more profitable in knowledge and growth and not so much in dollars.
